The following is a statement signed by dozens of French academics, calling for an end to Israli impunity and declaring their support for an academic boycott of all "Israeli institutions participating in the occupation."

Tulkarem – Ma’an – The city of Tulkarem will begin a total boycott of Israeli goods starting March, the chamber of commerce announced Thursday.

On Wednesday 11th Feb the University of Manchester Students Union passed a motion in support of the people of Gaza, which includes a resolve to boycott Israel, in an emergency general meeting [1].    

[press kit attached below] - Hampshire College in Amherst, MA, has become the first of any college or university in the U.S. to divest from companies on the grounds of their involvement in the Israeli occupation of Palestine.

Adalah-NY - Fifty-five New York rights advocates called today on the city's shoppers to boycott Israeli diamond mogul and settlement-builder Lev Leviev. The pre-Valentine's Day protest was the 13th demonstration held in front of Leviev's Madison Avenue jewelry store since it opened in November, 2007.

Press Release of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign UK - Over this weekend, 7th and 8th February, the Church of England clarified their position on their investments in companies profiting from the illegally occupied Palestinian territories.    

Media Release: Issued by Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu) and Palestine Solidarity Committee (PSC) - 6 February 2009 The Congress of South African Trade Union is pleased to announce that its members, dock workers belonging to the South African Transport and Allied Workers Union (SATAWU) achieved a victory last night when they stood firm by their decision not to offload the Johanna Russ, a ship that was carrying Israeli goods to South Africa. This, despite threats to COSATU members from sections of the pro-Israeli lobby, and despite severe provocation.

In Euskal Herria (Basque Country), as in other countries all over the world, there have been many demonstrations in solidarity with Palestine. In addition to the amount of people who have taken part in these demonstrations (there have been demonstrations in more than 30 cities and towns in Basque Country with more than 30.000 people in them), there are other remarkable aspects to this growing Palestine-solidarity movement:
