Glasgow City Council promises supporters of Palestinian rights that it will no longer sponsor arms fairs featuring Israeli weapons manufacturers and will ensure that the city's guidelines for hosting events reflect that “Glasgow is a human rights respecting city.”

Palestinians thank the UK artists for their principled stand and urge all participating artists to withdraw from the festival until it ends all forms of collaboration with Israel’s regime of oppression.

As Israel’s far-right government intensifies its violations of international law, this is no time to change this precedent. The UK should pressure Israel to end its violations of Palestinian rights and cancel Prince William's trip.
