Pitzer College faculty, students and staff voted overwhelmingly to suspend a study abroad program with Haifa University over Israel’s discriminatory policies against Palestinians. In an anti-democratic move, Pitzer's president vetoed the motion.

The EuroAsia Interconnector is projected to link electricity grids in Israel, Cyprus and Greece via the world’s longest submarine power cable.
