BNC - This year the Latin America Aero & Defense trade show will be held in Rio de Janeiro from April 14 - 17. The show will host and promote the world's most renowned merchants and producers of war, repression, torture and mass murder. Israeli war criminals feature prominently among them. Nearly every major state and private Israeli military firm will be represented, in addition to the Israeli Ministry of Defense.
The BDS Global Day of Action is part of the Global Week of Action against Capitalism and War from March 28 to April 4, 2009, that was launched by the Social Movements Assembly at the WSF in Belem* --- Today, the Palestinian people scattered across the globe mark Land Day, commemorating the events of 33 years ago....

The Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI) applauds CUPE-Ontario‘s University Workers Coordinating Committee (OUWCC) for its principled support for the cause of justice in Palestine by adopting, at its annual conference on 22 February 2009, significant steps in the direction of applying effective pressure on Israel and holding it accountable for its colonial and apartheid policies which violate international law and fundamental human rights.
The Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI) would like to extend its appreciation and support to the Palestine Forum in Japan for its admirable efforts to stop the world renowned novelist, Haruki Murakami, from attending the Jerusalem International Book Fair and accepting the ‘Jerusalem Prize for the Freedom of the Individual in Society’ on February 15th, 2009.
