In solidarity with Palestinians, the Disciples of Christ Church names Israeli apartheid

The Disciples of Christ Church, with over 350,000 members in North America, has passed a resolution naming Israeli apartheid.

Palestinians thank the Disciples of Christ Church (with over 350,000 members in North America) for its overwhelming vote for meaningful solidarity with Palestinian rights and naming Israeli apartheid.

The resolution lifts up Palestinian voices living under Israeli settler-colonial rule and apartheid and affirms the Palestinian refugees’ right of return as stipulated in UNGA resolution 194. By condemning Israeli apartheid, the Disciples of Christ Church joins Palestinian civil society, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, B’Tselem, the UN’s Special Rapporteur, and others in recognizing Israeli apartheid and advocating for justice! We salute the Church’s principled and courageous solidarity with our struggle for freedom, justice, and equality.
