Join the Global Week of Action (GWA) against the French group Carrefour from May 21-28, calling on the multinational retailer to end its complicity with Israel’s genocidal regime of settler colonialism, apartheid and military occupation against Palestinians.
The BDS movement has called on supporters of Palestinian rights worldwide to #BoycottCarrefour, until it:
- Ends its franchise agreement with Israel’s Electra Consumer Products and its subsidiary Yenot Bitan; and
- Stops all sales of products from illegal Israeli settlements in the thousands of supermarkets and convenience stores it operates around the world.
Pressure works!
After a large-scale and creative boycott campaign that contributed to huge financial losses and reputational damage, Majid Al Futtaim Group, Carrefour’s partner in most of the Arab region, announced the complete termination of its commercial dealings with Carrefour in Jordan and Oman.
Furthermore, Carrefour’s net profits in 2024 have plummeted drastically by 50% as compared to its profits in 2023.

Join us to demand Carrefour end its complicity in Israel’s apartheid and genocide:
- Write/email to your local Carrefour-branded supermarket and convenience store expressing your concerns, pressuring store management to write to their parent company about the campaign: download a sample letter here.
- Organizing on-ground actions, including peaceful disruptive actions in front or inside of your local Carrefour stores, actively raising awareness among consumers about the reality of the French company's complicity and calling on them to #BoycottCarrefour.
