[Jerusalem Post] 15 June 2010 - Folk artist Devendra Banhart on Monday night cancelled two shows he had been set to play in Tel Aviv on June 16 and 17, saying left-wing Israeli groups had urged him not to perform.
Last week, Banhart told The Jerusalem Post that he loved Israel and was excited about playing here.
His cancellation follows similar moves by Elvis Costello, The Pixies, The Klaxons and Gorillaz Sound System.
