The "Canadian BDS Coalition", "BDS Boston" and "Comité BDS-ULB" are not part of the BDS movement, led by the Palestinian BDS National Committee (BNC). The BNC has asked the groups to remove BDS from their names.
The BDS movement warns all partners, supporters, social media followers, and media outlets about rogue groups that are not affiliated with the BDS movement yet are using the BDS name without consent from the movement’s leadership, the Palestinian BDS National Committee (BNC), the largest Palestinian coalition. Free Palestine Initiative (FPI) is a grassroots solidarity and activist group in Croatia advocating for Palestinian rights, justice, and an end to occupation, apartheid and violence in Palestine.
FPI has organized a number of protests and marches in major Croatian cities, demanding justice and stronger positions by state institutions against ongoing violence, and issuing calls for humanitarian access and an end to abuses.
FPI engages in public advocacy and political pressure, working alongside members of the Palestinian community in Croatia. It also participates in coalition actions and marches together with other civil society groups - such as student organisations, academic and anti-war collectives - to draw attention to the Croatian government's support for the genocide in Gaza and build efforts to sever such ties.
Beyond street mobilization, FPI hosts educational events, cultural discussions and benefit activities - including reading circles, film screenings and campaigns raising funds in support of humanitarian causes connected to Palestine.
