The agricultural unions and non-governmental organizations present at the conference on "The agricultural sector in Gaza between reality and challenges", organized in Amman in March 2009, have called in their final declaration, among others, for the world to impose sanctions, to start all forms of boycott campaigns and to withdraw investments from Israel.

By Nadia Hijab [Agence Global] 30 April 2009 - On May 4, protesters will greet Motorola shareholders, already disgruntled by the company’s losses, as they arrive for their annual meeting at the Rosemont Theater in Chicago, Illinois.


The protest, organized by the US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation, is part of a drive to “Hang Up On Motorola” until it ends sales of communications and other products that support Israel’s military occupation of Palestinian land.

[Defense News] MOSCOW - Russia has purchased its first unmanned drones from Israel after its own manufacturers turned out to be ineffective at making the high-tech reconnaissance aircraft, a newspaper reported April 7.

The deal for an initial purchase of $50 million worth of drones was concluded in early April with Israel Aerospace Industries, the Kommersant daily said, citing a Russian defense industry source.
