Boicote, Desinvestimento, Sanções (BDS) é um movimento palestino liderado pela liberdade, justiça e igualdade. BDS defende o princípio simples de que os palestinos têm direito aos mesmos direitos que o resto da humanidade.
Over time, and increasingly, the term “apartheid” has been used to describe the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories (oPt). It is hardly surprising that use of the term brings with it a highly charged debate and strong sentiments, given the not so distant and dark history in southern Africa. This legal brief aims to provide a deeper understanding of the normative legal framework regulating and qualifying the debate on racial discrimination, and its relation to apartheid.

We are Israeli citizens, active against Israel’s occupation and violations of international law. We would like to express our support of Omar Barghouti’s right to freedom of speech and assembly as the co-founder of the BDS campaign.

In 2005 the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign against Israeli apartheid, occupation and colonialism started with a call by Palestinian civil society. The initiative is based on the understanding that once the profits Israeli economy reaps from the occupation, a new process of resistance and of change will have started.
La FIDH, à l’occasion de son Bureau international tenu à Paris du 25 au 27 mars 2016, a tenu à formellement reconnaître et réaffirmer le droit des personnes à participer pacifiquement et à appeler à des mesures de boycott-désinvestissement-sanctions (BDS) pour protester contre les politiques d’occupation et de discrimination du gouvernement israélien, et demande instamment aux États de respecter et de défendre les droits connexes de liberté d’expression, d’opinion, d’association et d’assemblée.
