Palestinian Unions Call for Boycott
The Palestinian Union of Workers’ Unions has called for a comprehensive boycott of Israeli products effective immediately.
Any product with a non-Israeli alternative should be substituted as an act of defiance and protest against the Israeli atrocities in the Gaza Strip, said a statement from the union.
It also called on the Palestinian government to encourage local production for any products without a viable alternative.
It called on those who import Israeli products to stop purchasing as soon as possible and seek for local alternatives.

In its statement, the union denounced the war crimes committed by Israel against children and women in Gaza, and affirmed the rights of Palestinians for freedom, independence and self determination.
