Updates from the palestinian BDS National Committee (BNC)

Update

As the Oslo Accords turn 25, we see that the “peace process” has served as cover for Israel to steal more Palestinian land, expel more Palestinians from their homes and commit war crimes against Palestinians without accountability. It's more important than ever to redouble our efforts to isolate Israeli apartheid and create a future where we are all free.

Company says that BDS is protected by freedom of expression and asserts that people have the right to criticize Israeli policies

BNC Statement

Popular struggle and international solidarity have defended the Palestinian community of Khan al-Ahmar from expulsion, stopping bulldozers manufactured by international corporations from demolishing homes and a school. Effective BDS campaigning is critical as Israel's Supreme Court has approved the demolition of Khan al-Ahmar to make way for illegal settlements on occupied Palestinian land. This includes naming and shaming corporations manufacturing bulldozers complicit in Israel’s demolitions: JCB (UK), Caterpillar (US), Volvo (Sweden), Hyundai (South Korea), Hitachi (Japan) and LiuGong (China).

Update

Palestinian civil society issues a statement urging the UK Labour Party and trade unions to reject IHRA’s false, anti-Palestinian definition of antisemitism which seeks to conflate antisemitism with criticism of Israel. This definition aims to silence criticism of Israeli policies that clearly violate Palestinian human rights.

Update

The world governing body of football ignores Israel's attacks on Palestinian athletes while it sanctions the President of the Palestinian Football Association.
