EU must ban all business with settlements, instead of merely labeling settlement products

By obliging the EU and member states to label products from Israel’s illegal settlements, the EU’s highest court has dealt a significant blow to apartheid Israel’s policy of population transfer.

The EU’s top court has obliged the EU to label products from Israel’s illegal settlements to prevent aiding its population transfer crime against Palestinians. More pressure is needed to compel Europe to end hypocrisy and ban all economic and financial relations with settlements.

By obliging the EU and member states to label products from Israel’s illegal settlements, the EU’s highest court has dealt a significant blow to apartheid Israel’s policy of population transfer.

More public and legal pressure is needed to compel the EU to drop its double standard on Israel and to comply with its obligation under EU and international law to stop assisting this illegal and criminal Israeli regime over the Palestinian people.

At a minimum, this requires the EU banning all business with the settlements, instead of merely labeling their products.
