Pitzer became the first US higher education institution whose highest governance body voted by an overwhelming majority for a full academic boycott of all complicit Israeli universities. Shamefully, the Pitzer president undemocratically vetoed the motion.


New research by Ekō  shows that AXA has sold all its shares from Israel Discount Bank and Bank Leumi that finance Israel’s illegal settlements, but still owns shares worth $2.6 million in Bank Hapoalim, one of the largest Israeli commercial banks that is blocklisted by the UN for financing Israel’s illegal settlement enterprise.


The withdrawal of the tech giant is yet another strong indicator of the dramatically declining confidence in the Israeli economy.
