The men’s World Cup starts in just a few days.

The world will turn its attention to the largest sporting event on the planet.

Major sporting events, organized by corrupt sports governing bodies and fed with dirty sponsorship money, are often used in an attempt to mask human rights abuses or push through unpopular policies.

Let’s turn that on its head.

As social movements across the world take advantage of the visibility of the men’s World Cup to call for justice for all, let’s shine a spotlight on Palestinian rights and on companies complicit in Israeli apartheid.

Take action starting today through the final match on December 18.

Use the hashtag #Goal4Palestine!

Let’s make sure Palestinian rights are front and center throughout the men’s World Cup.

2  Fly the Palestinian flag, at home, at matches and on social media.

Let’s follow the example of star footballers and major fan clubs and make sure the Palestinian flag is flying high throughout the men’s World Cup. Hang the flag alongside the flags of teams you support. Take the Palestinian flag to matches. Share the Palestinian flag on social media.

Take pictures and share with the hashtag #Goal4Palestine.

3  Remind fans to #BoycottPUMA

PUMA sponsors the Israel Football Association, which governs over and advocates to maintain teams in illegal Israeli settlements on stolen Palestinian land.

Share these memes to remind football fans to join 200+ Palestinian teams calling to Boycott PUMA until it ends support for Israeli apartheid.

Take the “Love Football. Hate Apartheid.” message to your local watch party, or organize your own.

Watch parties are a great opportunity to raise awareness of Palestinian rights and Israel’s attacks on Palestinian sports, and to spread the call to Boycott PUMA. Fly the Palestinian flag, hand out flyers, put up posters and stickers.

Take pictures and share with the hashtag #Goal4Palestine.
