Join a BDS campaign

Thanks to strategic and creative campaigns taking place across the world, the BDS movement is having a real impact and inspiring many to act for justice. The best way to contribute to the Palestinian people’s struggle for freedom, justice and equality is to get involved in a BDS campaign in your city or country.

Thousands of organisations and groups are part of the global BDS movement. You can use the tool below to connect with organisations that are main partners of the Palestinian BDS National Committee (BNC), the broadest coalition of Palestinian networks that leads and supports the BDS movement.

The "Canadian BDS Coalition" and "BDS Boston" are not part of the BDS movement, led by the Palestinian BDS National Committee (BNC). The BNC has asked the groups to remove BDS from their names.

We aim to organise and publicise meetings, discussions and events on campuses across the island of Ireland, to keep members informed about ongoing developments in Palestine/Israel, and to encourage unions and academic bodies in Ireland to take a leading role in the academic boycott of Israel, just as they took such a role in relation to the boycott of apartheid South Africa.

Trade Union Friends of Palestine (Ireland)

Trade Union Friends of Palestine (TUFP) was established by the Northern Ireland Committee of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions (ICTU) in 2006 in order to help promote the policy adopted at its Biennial Delegate Conference in 2005 to ‘Campaign in solidarity with the Palestinian people’. ICTU was subsequently mandated by conference to also establish TUFP in the Republic of Ireland. Since its formation TUFP has worked within the trade union movement to educate the membership, to highlight the injustices inflicted on the Palestinian people, to promote further policy motions to help address Israeli human rights abuses and to mobilise solidarity activity.
