The massive expression of support for Palestine and waving of the Palestinian flag at the men’s World Cup were among the big winners at the men's World Cup.

The spontaneous outpouring forced even mainstream Western media to finally report the truth. Apartheid Israel's normalization agreements with Arab dictatorships cannot hide the Arab peoples' overwhelming rejection of Israeli settler-colonialism and apartheid and passionate support for Palestinian liberation.

As some observers noted, Palestine was the "33rd team" at the men's World Cup, and among the most celebrated.

Outside the stadiums, in the stands, and even on the pitch, fans scored a #Goal4Palestine and denounced FIFA and PUMA's complicity in Israeli apartheid.

Across the Arab region and far beyond, the message to the West was clear: End your colonial hypocrisy and your shameful support for Israeli apartheid.

Justice for Palestinians remains a litmus test for real, consistent commitment to human rights principles.

While Argentina, which has rightly backed out of two friendly matches planned in apartheid Israel, will take home the trophy, the anti-apartheid movement and Palestinian rights shared a spot on the World Cup podium.
