Vermont Episcopalians condemn Israeli apartheid, setting up a national showdown

The Episcopal Church of Vermont stood up loudly against Israel’s U.S.-backed oppression of the Palestinians, Nov. 4, as its annual convention, condemning by an 89-25 majority what it said are the Jewish State’s apartheid policies. Similar resolutions will soon be considered by other Episcopal dioceses.

BNC Welcomes Call by Christian Organizations Urging the World Council of Churches to Support the BDS Movement for Palestinian Human Rights

The BNC warmly welcomes a historic open letter by the National Coalition of Christian Organizations in Palestine (NCCOP) urging the World Council of Churches (WCC) to “recognize Israel as an apartheid state,” support the nonviolent, Palestinian-led global BDS movement, help intensify BDS campaigns and actively refuse Christian complicity in ongoing Israeli violations of Palestinian human rights.
